Yaa Pono's Obiaa Wo Ni Master pops up in Kennedy Agyapong court case

An Accra Hgh Court judge, Justice Mensah sent his courtroom laughing after he asked one of the law- The song, Obiaa Wo Ni Master, is by Yaa Pono and Stonebwoy Justice Daniel Mensah of the Accra High Court sent his courtroom into spontaneous laughter in court, before giving his ruling in an application brought before it by Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong. 
The MP was praying the court to dismiss a GH¢25 million defamation suit filed against him by undercover investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. But before giving his ruling, Justice Mensah asked counsel for Agyapong if he had of a supposed "latest song in town", Mynewsgh.com reports.

When the counsel asked which song the judge was referring to, Justice Mensah responded, "Obiaa Wo Ni Master" (Everyone has their master). The song was composed by Yaa Pono and it features Stonebwoy. It has enjoy a lot of airplay and is thought to be one of the best Yaa Pono has ever come up with. Agyapong’s lawyer while in apparent shocked, responded to the judege: “My Lord, it’s an old song” and this left supporters of both the plaintiff and respondent laughing quite loudly in court.

Justice Mensah then proceeded to give his ruling and in his ruling declined the application by the Assin Central MP, Agyapong. The MP was sued by Anas Aremeyaw Anas for defamation in the wake of the famous Number 12 documentary.
